Mij past dankbaarheid

Als Hij, mijn Heer, steeds bij me blijft,
en ik volg Hem bereid,
als Hij maar slechts mijn hart beroert,
dan past mij dankbaarheid.

Door grazig groen of donker dal
wijst Hij de weg altijd,
als Hij mij struik'lend verder brengt,
