With Jesus as my Light,

I need not fear the darkness.

For in the deepest night,

He is my Rock, my Fortress.

My soul and being now

respond to all His grace.

His mercy does bestow

my life a whole new pace.

In word and deed and song,

I want to praise my Saviour.

For I to Him belong

and do enjoy His favour.

Daily, Lord, let me serve

in gratefulness and joy.

My faith will never swerve,

while I ’m in Your employ.

I ask Your blessing Lord

on all my daily living.

Your mercy please accord

when I need Your forgiving.

Let me Your temple be,

body, spirit and soul,

till I from sin set free,

completely will be whole.
