Created during a period when I was writing around 300 songs/year.
 (most of them are not worth sharing with others)
I was driving down Route 85 in Framingham, 
listening to a tape of rough cuts of recent songs and decided that
this one might be useful to the saints in public worship. 
It's also a simple chorus I like to sing in my private devotions!

Verse 2 was written during a congregational prayer time  
at a New Hope Chapel worship service  (October 16, 2005)

I stumbled on this song ("New Every Morning")
looking around on the Internet for
other things and thought it would make a great
Blessing song for the end of our service.
