SO... WHY DO WE GIVE OUR MUSIC AWAY?

I work full-time as a controller in a mid-sized company in Boston.  The Lord has always provided for the needs of our family.  From the beginning, God has clearly guided us that we should be in this to bless saints around the world, without the incentive (and burden) to ask for financial reward in return.

 

It allows us to give without restrictions, and it allows those with limited resources to freely receive  :)

 

A key verse with us is "Paul planted, Apollos watered... but God causes the growth".  We are called to simply plant Scripture seeds.  Folks like you do the watering, and together we rejoice as God bears the fruit.

 

And He has!  Since 1991, our songs have traveled to over 210 countries, all 50 states (US) and are now translated into 22+ languages.  Dozens have donated their time & skills to write, arrange, translate and perform the music.  Not bad for a part-time, all volunteer ministry... with no budget  :)

 

Several million have visited the web site;  thousands more people come each month.  Who knows how many of them share the songs with their churches, choirs and small groups?

 

Please continue to help us share these free resources with others.  Together we can encourage many saints around the world!

PS  God's calling is different for each saint. I support and fully endorse those musicians who ask for and rightfully receive royalties and funds through their music sales and performances.  Friends like Graham Kendrick, Jimmy Owens & John W. Peterson have been called to full-time music ministry and rightfully receive their support through what God has entrusted into their hands.

 

Just wanted you to know how much your website means to me and our church...  
there is such a need for inspirational songs for congregations 
to help connect us to God, beyond traditional hymn singing.

The fact that the music is free and available is a miracle 
for this choir and our church... I can't believe you give this music away 
just in Christ's  name. You will probably reach more souls this way 
 than any other! All the songs are wonderful and easy to understand.
