1986 to 1999, Rev. Wayne Anderson led a series of spiritual intimacy
seminars at Crossroads. Among the topics covered were
"Grace,
Faith and Focus", "Abba Father" and "Silence, Solitude and
Prayer".
This song, and many others, were inspired by those teachings.
It
was first sung at a New Hope Chapel Men's Retreat
at Grotonwood Retreat Center (Groton MA).

I am a choir/orchestra leader in our church and stumbled on your website a few months ago. I used Hiland Overgaard's arrangement of "Receive His Grace", simplified it a little for our instrumentation and skill, wrote a second verse based on your main theme, and WOW - the congregation loved it.
