God So Loved The World
So much loved God the world, He gave His only Son,
Who came to save us sinners, yet, hate and scorn has won.
He gave His life for people, often so small in mind,
for people in their mansions, street people and their kind.
For ordinary people, people who are not free.
So much loved God the world, so also He loved me.
So much loved God the world, that who in Him believe,
forever and for always, receive instant reprieve.
My Saviour gave His life, upon a cross died He,
so I might live forever, His Father's house for me.
Because He chose to suffer, I am now glad and free.

So much loved God the world, He sends His heav'nly light,
in brilliant beams of splendour, right where our hearts reside.
His star a guiding light for all who hear His voice,
to take them to the manger in Bethl'em to rejoice.
And ev'ry day He gives us, a new slate clear and free.
